Our history

l’Opificio came to life thirteen years ago in Turin, born from the passion for textiles of two sisters. It is a textile editor with a prêt-à-porter line of soft furnishings.

Barbara Bertoldo is a brilliant designer who for fifteen years has developed and refined her professional abilities working for some of the most important Italian fashion designers. Paola Bertoldo is a business woman with long experience in marketing sector. Federico Bertoldo has an engineering management education. A family activity that has made of the style, of the Italian tradition and of the quality their benchmark.

The creation

The creation develop overtime: from the work of research, to the design, to the selection of yarn and the colours up to the invention of new models and the painstaking craftsmanship of the final product.
Every step of the production process is controlled in minimum detail.

Furnishing fabrics and velvets, cushions and quilts, in constant stylistic evolution, the fruit of a commitment happily carried out to offer a new way of interior decoration.

Textile creations in which flair and fantasy mix in a distinctive “Made in Italy” style, which finds its maximum expression in unique bespoke home accessories from our atelier.
